Belgian Register of Osteopaths (BRO)
On 1 June 1983 by Misters Jean-Jacques Debroux, DO, Marc Verheyen, DO and Etienne Cloet, DO, founded the The Belgian Register of Osteopaths (BRO) as a non-profit organisation.
Its president is Etienne Cloet, DO.
Role: to hold a register of all the osteopaths DO who completed a training recognised in Belgium or abroad, and practising the profession exclusively as fully-qualified osteopaths.
The Belgian Register of Osteopaths (BRO) vouches for the observation of the code of ethics and for the ethical conduct of its members.
This step marks a clear separation between the political, academic and ethical aspects and eliminates any possible conflict of interests.
In collaboration with the registers of the different European and over-seas countries, the Belgian Register of Osteopaths (BRO) makes sure that osteopaths continue to defend the philosophy of osteopathy. |
